Welcome to Aviora AI. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Aviora AI website, applications, APIs, and services (collectively, the "Services"). By creating an account or using Aviora AI, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. About Aviora AI

Aviora AI is an AI-powered opportunity intelligence platform that helps students, researchers, and professionals discover scholarships, fellowships, grants, universities, professors, research positions, and other academic and career opportunities.

Our Services include:

• AI-powered recommendations & opportunity discovery
• University and scholarship scoring & ranking
• Professor and research group matching
• Application pipeline management & document readiness analysis
• AI document review and tailoring (CV, SOP, Research Proposals)
• AI email drafting and outreach tracking
• AI memory and personalization
• Integrations with third-party providers (Google, Gmail, etc.)

Aviora AI assists users throughout their academic journey but does not guarantee admission, funding, employment, scholarships, or acceptance.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your country) to use Aviora AI. If you are using Aviora AI on behalf of an organization, university, or company, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. Your Account & Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining accurate account information
• Keeping your password and credentials secure
• All activities occurring under your account

You agree NOT to:

• Share or sell your account
• Impersonate another individual or use false identities
• Circumvent usage limits, credits, or security controls
• Attempt unauthorized access to our systems or infrastructure

4. AI Outputs & Verification

Aviora AI uses artificial intelligence to generate recommendations, summaries, rankings, suggestions, and personalized insights. These outputs are generated automatically and may occasionally be incomplete or contain errors.

Users should independently verify: scholarship requirements, official application deadlines, tuition and stipend amounts, funding availability, visa requirements, university policies, and professor contact information before submitting applications.

5. Email Integrations (Gmail & Google)

Aviora AI allows you to connect your Google/Gmail account via OAuth2 permissions to send approved outreach directly from your own email and read relevant outreach threads to detect replies and manage those communications. Aviora does not modify or delete Gmail messages.

Aviora AI never sends emails without your approval unless you explicitly enable an automation feature. You can disconnect your email account at any time via Settings.

6. Third-Party Services

Aviora AI integrates with trusted third-party providers including Google, Microsoft, OpenAI, Anthropic, Stripe, Paystack, Resend, and Cloudinary. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.

7. User Content & Ownership

You retain full ownership of all content you upload, including CVs, Resumes, Statements of Purpose, Cover Letters, Academic Transcripts, Research Proposals, and Notes. You grant Aviora AI a limited, secure license to process this content solely for providing the Services. We do not claim ownership of your content.

8. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use Aviora AI to violate laws, harass others, send unsolicited spam, abuse AI systems, upload illegal content, infringe intellectual property, or attempt to reverse engineer the platform. Accounts violating these Terms may be suspended or terminated.

9. AI Memory & Learned Preferences

AI Memory and Learned Preferences allow the AI to remember preferred countries, target universities, funding types, and research interests. You can review, edit, or delete AI memory at any time through the platform.

10. Payments & Billing

Certain premium features require a paid subscription (Monthly or Annual) or usage-based AI credits. Unless otherwise required by law, subscription payments and credit purchases are non-refundable.

11. Free Allowance & Usage Limits

Free accounts receive a monthly credit allowance and basic access to AI discovery, document reviews, and opportunity matching. Usage limits and credit allocations may be updated over time.

12. Intellectual Property

The Aviora AI platform, software, branding, logos, algorithms, and design are owned by Aviora AI. You may not copy, redistribute, sell, reverse engineer, or create derivative works without prior written permission.

13. Limitation of Liability

Aviora AI is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aviora AI shall not be liable for lost opportunities, lost profits, data loss, or indirect damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you to Aviora AI during the 12 months preceding the claim.
